Eligibility Criteria

Educational Qualification

For Non-ITI: Candidates must have passed 10th class examination or its equivalent (under 10+2 examination system0 with minimum 50% marks. 

For ITI: Candidates must have passed the 10th class examination or its equivalent (under 10+2 examination system) with minimum 50% marks from the recognized Board and also must pass ITI in the relevant trades. 

Candidates should have passed the prescribed qualification before the date of issue of notification

Age Limit

For Non-ITI:

Non-ITI candidate has completed 15 years of age, and is not more than 22 years old

For ITI:

ITI passed in the relevant trade has completed (excluding welder and carpenter trade) 15 years of age, and not more than 24 years

Age Limit for welder and carpenter trade candidates from 15 years to 22 years. 

Application Fee

For others: Rs 100/-

For SC/ST/PwD/Female candidates: NIL

Selection Process

Candidates will be selected on the basis of the merit list in each unit, which will be prepared on the basis of the percentage of marks in the Matriculation Examination (with minimum 50% aggregate marks)

In the non-ITI selection, ITI passed candidates will be selected but they will not be given any weight age of ITI score. They must have only mark sheet / certificate of notified trade. 

Stipend 

The stipend will be paid as per Railway Boards instructions issued from time to time
